Fabricate & Install New Supported Cone Roof
The screening estimates are based upon the following assumptions:
- Tank is clean, gas and lead free and ready for hot work
- Good access exists to tank for equipment and materials
- Doorsheet is a minimum of 8’ high x 8’-6” wide.
- No hours are included for a dedicated fire/safety watch.
- Tank does not require jacking and leveling
- Integrity of old structure and roof plate is good enough to allow demolition
- All design, fabrication and construction in accordance with the latest edition of API 653 & 650
- Existing tank shell is within API-650 dimensional tolerances as far as level, plumbness, peaking, banding and buckles.
- Slope of the existing bottom does not exceed 1” in 10’ (either cone up or cone down).
