Fabricate & Install New Single Deck, Annular Pontoon Floating Roof

The screening estimates are based upon the following assumptions:

  • Tank is clean, gas and lead free and ready for hot work
  • Good access exists to tank for equipment and materials
  • Doorsheet is a minimum of 8’ high x 8’-6” wide.
  • No hours are included for a dedicated fire/safety watch.
  • Floating roof legs are a maximum of two (2) positions.  Industry standard positions for high leg and low leg setting of  six (6) feet and three (3) feet respectively
  • Floating roof shall be built at a construction height and floated to final setting by air, water or product.
  • All design, fabrication and construction in accordance with API 650 Appendix C
  • Existing  tank shell is within API-650 dimensional tolerances as far as level, plumbness, peaking, banding and buckles.
  • Slope of the existing bottom does not exceed 1” in 10’ (either cone up or cone down).
